The fundraising process
1. Sign up and complete your StartUp profile
Provide all the essential details about your company.
2. Upload your documents securely
Add your pitch deck, financial data, and team chart. All files remain private until you decide to share them with selected investors.
3. Publish your listing
Define how much you’re raising, the fundraising instrument (e.g. SAFE, Equity, Convertible Note), and the type of round (Crowdfunding, Restricted Round, etc.).
4. Go public
Make your StartUp visible and start attracting interest from potential investors.
5. Grant access and engage privately
Give access to specific documents and start chatting directly with interested investors.
6. Negotiate, receive funds, and close your round
Exchange messages, sign legal documents (LOIs, APAs…), receive the funds in-platform, and officially close the round.

OceUp is an investment platform that connects innovative StartUps with qualified investors. StartUps can securely share key information, publish investment rounds, and negotiate deals. Investors can explore opportunities, request access to private data, and invest directly through the platform.
Who can sign up on OceUp?▶
Both StartUps seeking funding and investors looking for promising ventures can join OceUp. StartUps must complete a detailed profile, and investors are encouraged to verify their identity and investment preferences to unlock full access.
What types of funding rounds are managed on the platform?▶
OceUp supports various types of rounds, including Crowdfunding and Restricted Rounds. Founders can choose between SAFE, Equity, or Convertible Notes as investment instruments, and customize terms directly from their profile.
Is it safe to share my information and documents?▶
Yes. All documents are encrypted and stored securely. StartUps retain full control over who sees what—your private data is only shared with investors you explicitly approve.
Does OceUp act as an intermediary in investments?▶
OceUp facilitates the process but does not act as a legal or financial intermediary. All negotiations, agreements, and payments happen transparently through the platform, using secure tools such as escrow accounts.
What are the platform’s costs or fees?▶
Creating a profile is free. OceUp applies a small success fee only when a deal is successfully closed. There are no hidden charges, and all costs are disclosed in advance.
How is the investment legally formalized?▶
Once terms are agreed upon, the platform helps both parties generate legally binding documents (such as LOIs, SAFEs, or contracts). Signatures and fund transfers are completed directly within the platform.
Can I use the platform if my StartUp is at a very early stage?▶
Absolutely. OceUp is designed for StartUps from Pre-Seed onwards. What matters most is having a clear vision, a complete profile, and transparent documentation to build investor trust.
